Officially back at it!Tanya's Daily Scoop CURRENTLY IN: ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Howdy Folks and a Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. Long time no see. Did you miss us? Can you believe that this is our 10th Anniversary?! Whoa!! Ya know what they say… Time sure does fly when you are having fun. In case you’ve been wondering, yes I’m still out there having a ball and a biscuit. Of course, I have tons of new material and adventures to share. Yet somehow even with time flying by and all, it still feels like forever since we’ve been on a regular posting schedule and sharing all things Travelin’ Cousins with you. I'll be the first to tell you that so very many things in my life have changed…Like I mean a whole lot!! But I want to stop you in your tracks before you go ahead and think anything too outragous. No need to worry, I’m still Travelin’ Tanya, I have not become Travelin’ Tom or anything like that. With all of the changes, I do have to constantly remind myself over and over again that change is necessary for growth, which is a good thing but it is also generally not a very easy pill to swallow. And the fact is that there are definitely (countless) days that I wish I could turn back time and that everything would just go back to being the way it was. The only thing is that I still haven’t found a time machine that works. LOL Okay enough about that for the time being. In my brief travel news, I literally just arrived back to SoCal from a short little jaunt to NYC . Just a quick little visit with Cosette. I got to see my 97 year old Grandma, my Dad, Elisa, Kelsey and the New York Yankees! I'll be back with much much more and some new travel tips that will even help the savvy travelers out there. Stay tuned and be sure to meet us back here! Ciao 4 Now, Travelin' Tanya | Back to the Blog!Elisa's Daily Scoop CURRENTLY IN: LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK WOW!! A huge hello! The Travelin' Cousins are back after all this time!! It's been a crazy number of years, but what better time to come back than on the "10 Year Blogiversary" since our very first blog post! It's been 3-1/2 years since we last came to you in December 2020, and Tanya and I both agreed that it would be super fun to get the ball rolling again on our 10-year blog anniversary. So much has happened in the past few years for both of us. My life has gone through a series of changes. As you guys already knew, following my divorce in 2017, me and the girls moved into our new house in June 2020. We are totally settled in at this point! Some very special things have happened while I was away - My two girls have grown quite a bit - Gianna will be 20 in a few days and Kelsey is now 17. Gianna will be a junior in college in September, studying psychology. Kelsey will be graduating high school in June and headed off to college in the fall to study film. Me and my girls had a wonderful Mother's Day today!! My working girl Gianna actually treated us to brunch today!! (How do I have such a grown up daughter!!!) We had a few additions to the animal clan - Punkin is still our number one doggie baby, but she is now joined by her little brothers, Wylan (orange) and Kaz (gray). Never was a cat person, but I cannot understand why since I have fallen in love with these two!! Another huge change in my life is that I have gotten my Life & Health Coaching Certification. I realized that I wanted to help other people going through difficult life transitions, just as I had done in 2017 with my divorce, and that is what prompted me to embark on this new career for the past 3 years. One of the most exciting things to report is that I also launched a podcast in January 2024 called The High V.I.B.E. Show with Elisa V: Livin' The High VIBE Life. This show is syndicated through Transformation Talk Radio every first and third Monday of the month. This has truly been a blast and the best part is I get to talk with super cool people who enlighten me and my listeners about ways to spiritually raise your energy frequency and vibration to live happier, healthier and more fulfilled lives. I hope you get a chance to check it out!! As Tanya mentioned, she visited New York last week with Cosette, and me and Kelsey were able to meet up for a long-needed lunch!! It was so wonderful! We realized how much we missed our blog and how life just got in the way, but we will be putting together a schedule for blogging - probably 2-3 times per week. Not to mention, we both have some trips on the horizon over the next 6-8 months and we would't want you to miss anything! Thank you for following us all these years and for continuing to visit our sight to read about our many travel and foodie adventures!! Much love and much more to come! Travelin' Elisa |
